Noite de lançamento / Launch evening: "Sex & Crime" Volume 2

Olá amigos,

Aqui ficam algumas fotos da noite de lançamento do livro "Sex & Crime" Volume 2, do Benicio, que se realizou na Galeria Ornitorrinco, dia 5 de fevereiro. A noite foi sensacional, o evento foi um sucesso, estava lotado e com a presença de inúmeros artistas (nas fotos podemos ver Ricardo Antunes (editor da Reference Press), Marcio Guerra, Mauro Souza, Gil Tokio, Luiz Rosso, Eduardo Baptistão, Rosana Urbes, Cris Eich, Gilberto Marchi, Filipe Massafera, Atílio, Paulo Caruso, Augusto Minighitti, Jal, Sidney Gusman, e ainda tivemos a presença de Mauricio de Sousa. Espero que tenham gostado, e em breve teremos novos lançamentos.

Here are some pictures from the launch evening of "Sex & Crime" Volume 2, from the great Brazilian illustrator Benicio, in Ornitorrinco Gallery, on February 5. The night was amazing, the event was a success, and was crowded with the presence of numerous great artists (in the pics we can see Ricardo Antunes (Reference Press editor), Marcio Guerra, Mauro Souza (both illustrators and owners of Ornitorrinco Galler), Gil Tokio, Luiz Rosso, Eduardo Baptistão, Rosana Urbes, Cris Eich, Gilberto Marchi, Filipe Massafera, Atílio, Paulo Caruso, Augusto Minighitti, Jal, Sidney Gusman, and we had the special presence of Mauricio de Sousa (the most important comic publisher from Brazil). Hope you enjoyed, and new books are coming soon.

Hiroines - The Art of Hiro Kawahara

Depois de um ano de atraso, inúmeros problemas, doenças graves, um glaucoma tratado e dificuldades em geral que o artista passou, finalmente chegamos na fase final de produção do tão aguardado livro “Hiroines - The Art of Hiro Kawahara”.
 Mas a espera valeu a pena... o livro está caprichadíssimo, recheado de ilustrações com as garotas mais doces do mercado - as Hiroines - além de muito material inédito deste que é um dos mais conhecidos ilustradores brasileiros.
Entre o material inédito, há também uma série de imagens que pouca gente teve acesso: o sketchbook pessoal do Hiro... biscoito fino. E para completar, no final do livro ainda há um passo a passo exclusivo. Agora é aguardar a fase final de produção... o livro só fica pronto lá para junho, e será vendido somente na loja da Reference Press. Até lá, dêem uma olhada no preview, logo abaixo:

After one year of delay, many problems, some serious illness, a glaucoma treated and general difficulties that the artist had, finally we are at the final stage of production of the book "Hiroines - The Art of Hiro Kawahara".  
But the wait was worth it... the book is great, filled with illustrations of the sweetest girls - the Hiroines - plus much new stuff from one of the best known Brazilian illustrators. Among the new stuff, there are also many images about just few people had access: Hiro's personal sketchbook... nice! And to complete, at the end of the book there is an exclusive step by step.
